et, al: Inspiring White Female Privilege.

A critique of an introduction, which functions as a rationalization of late-term post-partum white female privilege, abjection,* separatism cloaked in rape anxiety, and feminist cowardice.

This article is written for academic, “school educated” people, but I think it is important to write for non-academic people who should come first. For anyone reading this, who has never been to college, go here ** below the second line down.

For Nell, from Brooklyn–and feminist men: here below, is Nikki Crafts phallic totem.

———————————————————————————————————

Nikki Craft deserves more of the ear than most of her white female, feminist peers.

Why? Because Nikki Craft has ovaries ( I just thought I would see how that sounds–like if I said, “she has balls”-doesn’t carry the same ooomph, does it?).

No: Nikki Craft had balls–no, the gonads, in the sense of the phallus as a metaphorical and transferable human-family totem to actually take on the system. That is, before she located, and centered herself squarely, and interestingly in the middle of groups of naked children–but then changed her course– in order to argue against pedophilic sexual voyeurism of males, a curious position to be in indeed.

Nikki Craft was a warrior, not a whiner.

And Nikki Craft wasn’t a coward in her early activism, sniping from academic turrets of police and state mechanisms of pure power, like Russell[.], or from behind fire-walled, lap-dog guarded pseudo-feminist blogs like Skepchick.com which has recently had quite a discussion about Richard Dawkins, atheist, and sexism.

Most feminist men and women can’t help themselves, stuck as they are in Julia Kristeva‘s “borderline,” structured over a ‘lack’ of something rather than a possession of something, or cowering in the binary disconnect of self and other, like most modern entitled, privileged white feminists who lack the gonads to truly protest, or risk shattering the prolonged period of privileged female abjection.

Ms. Craft once took REAL risks–the same kind of risks that men face every day, and in doing so, was inherently believable, understandable, and respectable in her protests, unlike those who employ themselves merely as female ‘minds’ but inhabiting primarily, female bodies enmeshed in post-structural feminist narratology; and she transcended fear, and ‘her’ self.

She literally risked going to jail ( with all of it’s implied, potential, egalitarianism enhancing potential violence, and potential rape), and was actually jailed 17 times during her protests against misogyny.

You definitely can’t say that about any of the modern, entitled white women who talk, blog, and march in SlutWalks, and cry wolf at the mere possibility of male attention–who equate being spoken to in an elevator with rape , like white young feminist and religious skeptic Rebecca Watson, or joust at penises who have heretical gametes instead of right wing or power structure males.

However, the history of women’s protest in modern times is the history of differential and lesser-charged treatment by authorities in comparison to criminal offenses charged against men, and women of color.

The slap on the wrist is the norm in prosecuting white female criminal acts, and has been throughout the millennium–not the exception–which is not to minimize the effect of not being taken seriously by authority, but to point out the nature of second, third, and 17 th chances for those embodied white and female.

Craft was mad about men looking at pictures of naked women, which took their attention off of her, and other women she knew. She marauded in book and magazine stores, destroying magazines which portrayed naked women, which she felt threatened women’s safety–she took actual as opposed to imagined risks:

Unprivileged men don’t get 17th chances, stomping into stores and shops and wreaking havoc on merchandise; non-white women do not get second guesses, and second chances are rare, even for privileged men.

Black and brown or non-privileged white women are being locked in American prisons at an increasing rate[..], and all of them have historically faced harm that white women have NEVER faced.

However, white women have never faced prison, or the primary violation of their bodies as mere orthographic descriptions denoting criminality, unfathomably above and beyond the cold descriptors of ordinary humanity.

Further: imagine the absolutely unimaginable: that any man who acts in the agency of male, protesting the violence against the male body not just from authority, but from its constant companion of white female privilege that negotiates each male and other identity against racial and sexual pardigms of white female engendered or upholding power–should ever be nominated for an award by his arresting officer!

It could NEVER happen. Male protest, and other bodies for whom male protest attempts to speak, has been co-opted, essentially, at the site of a white woman’s womb.

To even attempt to create a list of men who have been imprisoned, beaten, jailed, and ruined by criminal records compiled by cops would be an exhausting project that would require a multi-billion dollar endowment, because the male body–regardless of race– is and has always been the center of the primary battles of discrimination between privileged men, and privileged women who compete for a voice in their ranks ( those ranks birthed, and upheld by mothers who birthed such men).

The use, control and abuse of male bodies is an agreement between the privileged of both genders; and male embodiment for most men is in and of itself ‘potentially harmful’ to society–men are punished merely for being male, because definitions of crime itself is proscribed male.

The male body that the privileged woman reaches into for phallic energy, and sperm donations is not the same male body that privileged females squeal to, or appeal to in their quest for justice.

In Russel’s introduction, she goes on to state what has become the driving mantra and the essential position of white female privilege-and by using the term white female, I by no means preclude brown, or black contenders for the white female influenced voice of privilege.

Russell admits her cowardice to some degree when says:

And likely, the lesson she speaks of brings her closer to comprehending what it is that keeps white female privilege arguing up the asses of male politicians, police, professors, and feminist lap-dog men, while purporting to care about brown and black women around the world– because jail is a very real possibility for all men, every day, and actual rape, death and harm a fact of life for non-white women.

But white women? C’mon…they are way too scared to take risks like talking to someone in an elevator, much less go to jail for insurrection.Fear of crossing from ‘abject’ reality to “actual reality”*** is what motivates the modern white feminist–fear of losing their entitlement, not fear of actual rape.

Unlike Craft, a primary cowardice that stops white women at the door of actual risk, and perpetuates their privilege, while minimizing the effects of their abject fear projections on men, and leaning on the backs of ‘other and othered’ men and women for actual stories of suffering and inequality.

Or, in the words of Russell:

This dialectic of “fancy” preemptive dialogue is “limned with the abject loss” of white female privilege–a murderous impulse against growing up, being truly equal, or at least facing the violence of ‘reality’ that most men, and non-white women face. It eludes reality, and eludes the presumptions of ‘othered’ male innocence in every discussion, and merely tokenizes actual violence that non-white women face.

Unimaginable, utopian, unavailable, and unattainable as white female perceptions of abject reality is, it is seductive in the least, for privileged, and compliant males, but it borders no reality known by the rest of men, or non white women.

White female abjection is so fetishized, and so normalized that egalitarian options are demonized and co-opted by the collaboration of cowards; the white female abject is a tool to diffuse and disorganize ‘other’ and ‘othered’ male protest, diminished as much by the actual arrests and subsequent brutality that non-white women and othered men face, without letters of recommendation, or commendation from police authorities.

* abjection in Julia Kristeva’s conception: “On the level of archaic memory, refers to the primitive effort to separate ourselves from the animal: “by way of abjection, primitive societies have marked out a precise area of their culture in order to remove it from the threatening world of animals or animalism, which were imagined as representatives of sex and murder” (Powers 12-13). On the level of our individual psycho sexual development, the abject marks the moment when we separated ourselves from the mother, when we began to recognize a boundary between “me” and other, between “me” and “(m)other.”[ needs citation]

But instead of art, or literature, white feminism gives us regurgitation’s of Plato, a structuralist, and Socrates, a pedophile, and always posits her place as an innocent, vulnerable, and unaware of conflict, holding her place at the mirror image abject, never quite seeing, or admitting to seeing, but always looking at herself, and projecting upon others whatthey, not she, sees there, in HER unbroken mirror.

**What I am saying up there above the line where the book-smart but street-dumb paper-people live.

But for everybody else: Don’t white women act like they are a threatened species, and claim they have not enjoyed freedom because white men were in the way? White women have imprisoned white men and black men for generations, with social morality campaigns, and social scares, claiming black men “looked at them, ” assaulted them, ” raped them,” etc., while making black women nurse, and watch their babies while they ran around.

White women negotiate from a perspective of entitlement, but once, some white women, who kicked ass, did cool things that helped all women, like what Nikki Craft did, before she became incredibly fascinated and obsessed being near nudist children.

Yet sadly, modern white women are cowards, who want you to keep them in the position of power that they are used to (listen to them, pay for them, enable them, believe in them, and at all times spoil them like little girls, but never talk about it): and, unlike most people, and most women, especially black, brown, or non-white women, they want you to think that they have a hard time in life, despite the fact that white women have been the primary living, breathing, financial beneficiaries of all of histories wealth, all of histories dead men, and all of histories power.

In fact, white women want you to help ensure their breeding success, against your own, and want you to believe that mixing with them will help protect your childrens future–it won’t. The problem is, you cannot protect your children from them–look at American laws, look at ‘modern’ history–everywhere there is a white woman, there is child rape, slavery, death of fathers, subservience of ‘colored women’, and kidnapping or “adoption” of your non-white children]

*** actual reality is what non-white women, and unprivileged men everywhere face due to the un-modulated voice of white women and their fears, as opposed to the rest of people and their realities.

Pornalysis, chapter 1,will soon be a subscription only blog.  Any and all requests for past material, or future subscription, should be made to ( you know where).

Or. do what the petty, malevolent bastards do: get it while it’s still hot in Google cache! Cache in, before it’s too late!!!!

Then go rapeflate it, you fucks–but not without taking a piece of your own ass with you. And I do mean ass, in the pejorative sense.

I thank my faithful 2 or 3 readers from the bottom of my heart.

Ethan, I especially thank you, and yes, I now know what you meant with your ‘tornado/ grade school’  image/analogy. I was too stupid then to know, but I understand it fully now. My grand exploration is over. I too, can name names.

Lots of them. And the tornado, we agree, was a juvenile stunt of an ending, but necessary, despite ten other ways it could have gone. Imagine the grade books flying around! That might have been way more cool.

Great script too.

Now:  Chapter 2 will focus more on effects, and less on cause. I will also give a nod to ‘origins’ in a way that will blow your socks off, and nod also to the geniuses, idiots, and day to day truth speakers who helped me phrase the difficult message I am sending.

I am not sure yet if I will nod to those who ‘came before me’ and were soundly lynched for it ( think ‘Injuns’, and settlers with ‘mail order brides’–and the hosts of the last ‘legal’ lynching in this state). After all, ‘we’ WERE here, or there, where they are all lekking now, and ‘we’ were here first-before their eugenic experiments.

I apologize for my crappy formatting ( you know the story), and move forwards with a wad of understanding in my pocket.  I move forwards with an understanding ( again, Ethan thank you for that dark moment of doubt, where you filled my pocket with bigger game points) that it really isn’t an honest world, and there exist those within it that can really ruin your day by association.

I apologize for my attempts to trust–I AM the weak link–you didn’t lie about that!  Fascism truly sneaks in, one justification at a time.

And I will heed that advice forwards.

Meantime–you were right here as well–the pogroms have begun, in places ( again–am I sounding redundant?) where I thought trust was more firm.

There’s a great story in the New York post about that yesterday. Swastikas, and ‘graffiti’ on sidewalks. They roll like that here, too, in sheep’s clothing.

Read this as if it didn’t happen this morning. Read this as if it didn’t happen to you, or me. Or, read it as it is written. Your choice. I just wish it didn’t happen.

Yet it didn’t take too much time for things to heat up in my world ( you know what I mean).  The right wins, because they own the left in America. Crypto-fascists cannot be trusted. I will write more on that when myhead is more clear.

Do you believe in coincidence? I don’t.

They are everywhere. And watching. Listening, but not hearing; looking without seeing. And don't even think they have feelings--they don't.

But two people that came here to live the American dream, who ‘rode across’ in gasoline tanks, and walked across deserts, and mountains with a liter of water and worn out shoes–people who came,  and worked hard, and  lived nearly free in a foreign country are no longer amongst the ‘free’ in the ‘land of the free’.

They are at INS-ICE lockup, down  in […]. I can’t tell you the all the details of how they actually get here,  as I  do not want  to add to their misery with more useless ‘facts,’ which are always ‘ammunition’ for right wingers, crypto-fascists and ‘officials’ of government.

This morning at8:30 a.m. I got a call–the INS had come to round up a few “illegals” who were living in […].

My caretaker says ”  They wanted to know if […] and […] live here.”

I said “Don’t open the door. They can’t come in without a warrant.”

He said ” It’s too late. They had some serious looking papers. They came earlier, and your phone was turned off. They took […] and […] and they even asked me for papers. But they were here specifically for those two. They had pictures, and some papers.”

I said “But they can’t do that–she is here seeking asylum! She filed papers and …,” and I stewed about how ignorant people are– of the warrant requirement.

He said “They took her anyways. I don’t know what she was saying because I don’t speak […], but she was crying, and had papers in her hand-and[…] was crying too, and he tried to explain that she was here as an asylum seeker. They left a card and a number for you to call.”

I was outraged. I was pissed–in fact, there are no words to describe what I am feeling now. Flashbacks maybe, or just fucking pissed. And I never imagined […] could cry–he is such a stoic.

For the record, I am not  ‘family’, and I cannot speak with them unless I am their lawyer, advocate or other legally appointed representative.

Both of them are people that I ate with; played volleyball with; shared language, and learning with, and planted flowers with all summer long; and people who i cooked for, who always acted overly polite when offered it  ‘small portions, only  please,’ (!), but who always gave me huge plates of theirs saying ‘”try this. I used to serve it in a restaurant back home -try it”.

And i would eat, and never ask for seconds because it was worth thirds. It was THAT good.

“Did you get any paperwork at all?”

“No,” he says, ” It was all so fast…she was cooking breakfast …and…”

“The law says they have to leave paperwork,”  I said, not sure of the law and immigration or myself at that moment. I remembered that they put their names on the mailbox: “he” was giggling, her future husband was teasing “her” about having a home…

Turns out he–my caretaker- let them in–so, no paperwork required. See what happens when everybody doesn’t know the rules…?

I had been trying to drum up money to buy them a restaurant–my thought had been to buy an old house, and start it as a soup and coffee shop. Their idea was far more humble–they only wanted a stand in a market. They could hide easier amongst others in similar situations.

Both of ‘them’ were driven off in ” a big white van” this morning. Name it shame it, tame it–then claim it,  mother fuckers, but this ain’t even started yet, was my first thought.

Time will tell, was my second–and my third thought? Refer to the first thought if time don’t open it’s mouth pretty damn quick.

‘He’ was a fry cook, and ‘she’ was fleeing a country that was recently on the U.S. ‘watch list’ of potential terror ‘supporters’.  She was also a domestic violence victim: her husband told her that he would chop her into pieces and cook her if she ran away.

And when she told me that story, she would laugh, and then, look away nervously, or at her new mate, who, as it turns out […] was her ‘old love’ as well; her lover back home, and itwas he who paid her way here, too. They planned to get married…

So she ran away anyways, against her husbands ‘will’.  ‘Welcome to America,’ I remember telling her with an odd ‘paternal’ happiness–happy that I could provide a home.

She and her would-be-future-brother-in-law will be flown ‘home’ after a hearing or two, I am told, to live once again next to a trembling volcanoe. Her love–the man she ran away to be with, will remain here, because he has the right paperwork.

Or: he or  I can pay for a lawyer, and be told the same thing i was told last time: they can extend it by a year, and then, maybe, she will be able to stay–but, like last time, if experience is any kind of teacher, she will be sent back anyways, and right quick.

But likely, she will be dumped just across the Mexican border, in Juarez, like so many are these days, as the U.S. refuses to accept some forms of paperwork from ‘illegals.’

But fuck you, and anyone who shits on ‘the little people’: capital FUCK, littler you, and anyone who condones this, or pushed for it to happen–team ‘community snitch’ ala the Patriot Act. The problem is, it’s always the ‘wrong’ people getting shipped out of here, and the ‘right’ ones remaining.  And when I say right, I mean–that was really, really wrong.

Is Frank Miller a Crypto-New atheist? A Fascist?  After all, he uses the label ‘rapist’ interchageably to label all protest or opposition.

That’s neo-syncretism* in action!

“The man behind such famed comic series as “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns,” “Sin City” and “300,” in fact, is entirely against the Occupy Wall Street movement.

“‘Occupy’ is nothing but a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists, an unruly mob, fed by Woodstock-era nostalgia and putrid false righteousness,” Miller wrote in a blog entry last week. “These clowns can do nothing but harm America,”

more here, from the Huffington Post.

Miller, once believed that  ‘if you give corporations an inch, they will take a mile’, and even used the proverb on his book covers.  For a man who has gained notoriety by fighting corporations via the medium of comic books, and film, he is apparently a different person in real life–or does life imitate art, and in fact, his comic book persona is the real Frank Miller?

Miller writes at his blog-cum-fascist-propaganda disseminating tool:

The “Occupy” movement, whether displaying itself on Wall Street or in the streets of Oakland (which has, with unspeakable cowardice, embraced it) is anything but an exercise of our blessed First Amendment. “Occupy” is nothing but a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists, an unruly mob, fed by Woodstock-era nostalgia and putrid false righteousness. These clowns can do nothing but harm America.

“Occupy” is nothing short of a clumsy, poorly-expressed attempt at anarchy, to the extent that the “movement” – HAH! Some “movement”, except if the word “bowel” is attached – is anything more than an ugly fashion statement by a bunch of iPhone, iPad wielding spoiled brats who should stop getting in the way of working people and find jobs for themselves.

This is no popular uprising. This is garbage. And goodness knows they’re spewing their garbage – both politically and physically – every which way they can find.”

But Frank’s commenters aren’t having any of it, and in fact, some of them are downright pissed.

Dan Calvisi, a screenwriter, aptly notes that Miller is a hypocrite, and a bully who has forgotten where he comes from. He writes that the war on terror has come home in a way that was unpredictable–Americans enforcing a moral code of silence–against each other!

“So how should the rest of us fight terror?” He asks.

Oh, right, by not rocking the boat. Never complaining, just stewing in our anger and writing angry screeds online and in comic books. Gettin’ the ol’ job done, aren’t we, Frank?[…]

“Remember the Frank Miller who donated to groups that supported creator-owned companies? The guy who printed “Give ’em an inch, they’ll take a Mile” in big bold letters on the back cover of one of his books? He was talking about CORPORATIONS, not big government. “

Today, Everywhere you look, crypto-fascists are slipping into every internet dialogue–but you would never know it, until it is too late, because their main selling point is the outwardly noble idea of building an online “community,” around an emerging syncretic use of the meme  that ‘rapists are everywhere!”

To fascists, if you are not ‘with them’ you are ‘against them,’ because fascism feeds on the primacy of fear, and eats everything in front of them in real time here and now, forgetting what lies down the road, or what seeds their boots are marching over–seeds that were planted in the not too distant past.

Fascists are like locusts, or as in Millers own artwork, flying dogs masquerading as superheroes. And in their minds, they actually believe they are the good guys–and they work hard to get you to buy-in to that message. They want that message in your mind.

But in the world of comic books, and the internet, sometimes the opposite is true of any character. The ‘good’ guy is the bad guy and …?

Frank Miller once said that if you give a corporation "one inch, they will take a mile."

Frank Miller once said that if you give a corporation "one inch, they will take a mile." Do you know your newspaper delivery dog?

That sounds reasonable enough, possible for most of us doesn’t it? But there is nothing reasonable about the methods they all choose to sell these messages: while community for some, means walking outside butt naked to get the newspaper, for others, it means having it delivered to their office.

So what harm is there when one  group builds community by walking around naked, and the other does it by upholding  privacy or power?  Either way, trapped as they are in dualism, it seems they all forget that some  others only use the newspaper as a temporary shelter to cover themselves while sleeping on bus benches…

Never mind the American political system in real life that frames everything in dualistic terms of a right and a left, white and black, male and female, gay or straight, as each ‘side’ seeks what they think is moral high ground. Fascism is an equal opportunity hate movement that exploits differences, and conflates meaning, because fascism is, at its root, syncretic, and unapologetic about it.

Frank Miller clip called ” Girls”. The world, and women are black and white to Miller

What defines fascism is that it is a unifying force that attempts to define a sense of community based on ‘us versus them mentality’ that precludes, negates, and actively discourages conversation, while ‘electing’ populist leaders; and actively seeks to silence alternative viewpoints with brute thuggery, usually directed at the poor, the marginalized, the homeless, the carpet baggers, and especially, those who don’t pick up an axe when told to do so.

Discussion is meaningless without context, and no conversation is context free– except the one where you dehumanize or otherwise stigmatize a participant or a group of them. Attempting to silence a participant, has such an effect, but stigmatizing can be much greater, in both the long and the short term, because the axe of fascism hides behind community. And dualism of religion, like fascism relies on black and white narratives.

Yet history shows us that movements which resort to such tactics are often short lived themselves–and  populism, with it’s ‘chosen’ leaders who most often speak syncretic ‘newspeak’, often end where they started–nowhere, and everywhere you look, as figureheads who will be ridiculed long after the movements they attempted fail, leaving a trail of actual harms that they have caused.

The root of Fascism is only as deep or elusive as your own day to day decisions within ‘your community’.

While many have tried, none have succeeded in fully describing or identifying the essential conditon of fascism. Or, for my point here, the essential pre-condition. What is this essential condition that enables the creation of communities that for whatever reason rise and fall on the merits of such ideologies as fascism?

I would like to suggest that the exclusive pre-condition for fascism to take root is that one has a right, a duty, or even, an obligation to enforce syncretism of beliefs , and the commitment to that expression of sentiment is prized above all.

Umberto Eco struggled with that definitional problem, and decided that there is not one defining character trait so much as a collusion of traits, but that of the 14 that he identified, only one condition need be met to allow the other conditions to coagulate around it.

A few features and group wide character traits and that I find useful from Eco are Disagreement Is Treason, Selective Populism, Obsession with a Plot and the hyping-up of an enemy threat, and especially pertinent to my subject, “The Cult of Action for Action’s Sake. These apply to the current situation, and Miller as well, if we view him as a real person, rather than a cartoon.

Marxist’s suggest ( as Marxists always do) that fascism is a right wing thing, that has a distinct tendency to ‘smash the working classes,’ and is marked by an authoritarian rule, and totalitarian policies. Also, they generally would not agree with the statement that “America is a fascist country” despite mountains of evidence to the contrary in recent decades.

Frank Miller at the "X-Files: I Want To B...

Frank Miller

Amadeo Bordiga disagrees with the mainstream socialist version, and posits that fascism is just  unexceptional, bourgeois rule, doing the sort of things that the middle classes do to gain, or maintain power.

And, most presciently and quite famously, George Orwell ( himself almost a cliche’ in such discussions) said that the word fascism and the word bully could easily be used in place of the other in any dialogue, because it had lost it’s currency as a meaningful symbol in a discussion.

So where does that leave us? where does that leave my opinion about Frank Miller if we can’t call him a fascist? He is not wrong that a certain percentage of 99%er’s are just there for something to do–taking action for actions sake. And maybe he is just kidding around. But I think he is wrong on so many other levels.

I think the best place to start is to say that Millers own work is almost to a fault, bleak, dystopian, and short-sighted, especially his view of women, all of whom conform to some form or another of the beauty myth.Films almost dark and foreboding to the point it leaves you depressed after a viewing ( Sin City). Miller himself; his views of the world, and the women in that world are  reductionist, and syncretic as well.

The Dark Knight Returns 002

Is Miller Just Joker-ing around or is He a Big Asshole?

Yet I like to believe that a better world is possible. And that a more fair minded community is possible as well. So do the 99% ‘s.

And in my mind, anyone who would disagree with that statement could be called a fascist–but that would be an inaccurate representation of the word because Miller doesn’t speak for anyone but himself. He is an individual with an opinion, albeit a potentially influential one.

But using the word that way dulls our collective ability to see actual fascism in action, taking actual action against others–because the fascists require a community of like minded ‘individuals,’ and then, they require a ‘popular leader’ who sanctions such activity. Those are the ones to watch out for, because by definition, fascists believe that they are ‘all one, only when they are united.’

So while the term fascism might be passe’ it is not less pertinent. It’s just taken a beating as a useful term. And the fact that the dualistic paradigms are currently in a bloody competition to co-opt or blame each other, and each defile each others right to speak, and some amongst them take actions that mirror what Marxists called the right wing, it doesn’t make them any more or less right–it makes them both sound more ‘dumbed down’ by the minute, more factually incorrect, more historically revisionist; more academically fraudulent, and more thuggish by their actions.

So, at the root, syncretic is a better word that describes this set of actions–this tendency to attempt to oversimplify, and merge competing ideologies is syncretic by definition; and then, to demonize and dehumanize legitimate protest  on both sides of the cultural divide to the point where you are willing to violate another’s sense of community is as Eco pointed out, ur-fascism. But perhaps, because their are other factors at oplay in the current dynamic, by both sides in the discussion, neo-syncreticism probably more accurately describes the emerging dynamics.

Add to that the idea of a dumbed down community that acts only on instructions of ‘authorities’; add willing subscribers to sound bytes mixed with dogma’s and ideologies or new theologies, healthy portions of cyber-space, splattered with cyber revenue, and associated profits of fame, and you have another word that could be added to make a phrase. Then, add to that a willingness–a desperation almost to destroy community as much as to build it, and you have a sum total phrase: neo-syncretic capitalism.

And even though on the surface they are not actively a fascist movement–yet– these syncretics ARE steeped in hypocrisy, eagerly dispensing  soundbytes, and winning over the short attention spans of men like Frank Miller, because, ironically, no matter how far to the right his dismissive statements of legitimate protest are? He is fully synchronized with the new-atheists, feminists, and the police state in the unified call that all protesters are rapists.

It looks like we only have an inch or two to go before the circle is completed–look at the new boss! Same as the old boss! and the new religion takes over the old one. But I won’t wait around: I have my own scripts to write, and they’re full of grey area.

Well, anyways–I needed a break away from ‘white people‘, and all of that violence, and political bad touch that they bring with them. It always precedes one kind or another of  their wars.

And the white women!! OMG!!  They scare even me with their desire to lift up women’s burqa’s, and peek under the skirts of culture.

No man–no PUA or MRA– could ever dream up a plan to get between women’s legs that is any greater, or more diabolical, capitalistic, or more invasive than the white women and ‘feminists’ have done to get a peek at Somali‘s and their clitorises.

So I went out and got hammered last night, bummed out. But really, my thoughts  started a few weeks before, when  I was talking to Skinny, in Somali. And we were talking about Moqtar, Aayan Hirsi Ali’s cousin.

The Somali’s I know like to gossip. No big deal, we do it every time we meet, and this time it was just me and Skinny talking about Aayan. But I was trying to clear a few things up in my own mind about who she is, and I couldn’t remember her.

Then Skinny,* the film maker  says  ” You remember when we were sitting at[…] that coffee shop? It was me and you and Moqtar?”

“Nope,” I said. “I know too many Somali’s–and they’re all Moqtars too.”

“No, no, you would know this guy, He’s  handsome guy. You know,”  he says, pointing to his HP computer screen.

“This one.”

Oh! The picture is from Vancouver, and he sits with a lovely long nosed girl. Then I remembered him. Moqtar is very distinctive, and very handsome from what I remembered–and in my way of remembering, or categorizing Somali’s, he looks more Isaaq than Darod.

Well, I say to Skinny,”Lots of atheists are talking about Aayan these days,” and in my mind I couldn’t remember why she was filed in my mental Rolodex at all. I can only remember something about her “passport, a scandal, or the Dutch Parliament.”

An atheist took me to task on that awhile ago [ @19 and onwards] , and virtually called me a cunt over my response. But I am a forgiving sort, well aware of the cunty sensitivities of some cunty atheists–especially the white, middle class female ones who have so little to grasp at apparently, that they can only hate you with their vaginas, despite their padded bank accounts, new cars, and Macy’s points cards…

I remember now where my thoughts about Aayan came from to begin with–from Moqtar and Skinny, the last time I saw them.  We were talking about a film.

And I remember how tall she  seemed last time I saw her; but many Somali women are tall, once you learn how to talk to them.

“You remember,” Skinny says. “She made the film.”

Well anyways, we sure did share a laugh about how white women rapeflate everything; how they try to get close to “other women”–and how the cultural practice of FGM is conflated with ‘religious practice’ by the white folks from the ‘west’–even if their rapeflation often misses the ‘nuance’ of how corrupted culture’s that themselves are slaves to religion, view THEMSELVES.

And we laughed about how rapeflation causes many Somali’s to distrust the latest form of western cultural imperialism–feminism.

After all, Africans are used to cultural Imperialism defining them, and defining their bodies as property–no one has anyything on Somali’s in the discussion of slavery, except maybe, West Africans.

Africans are used to having scientists quantify them in some bizarre Linnaean system of social order: measurements of their character, viewed through binoculars and microscopes, and reduced to the status of bugs.

No big deal. Just me, and Skinny, and Moqtar, chatting about Aayan, and western cluelessness. It became nearly a decade long conversation that shined a lens into a culture that desperately seeks affirmation, yet struggles with the mechanics of self governance amidst a climate of western projection.

And all of the recent scrutiny of their bodies, their practices, and their ‘selling points’ is coming from females–western females, with western concepts of power, not least of which is sexual in nature…

And we laughed about the Tanzanian word firconi…[to be continued…]

Nicking Clits, and Slippery Slopes: Aayan Speaks about inept western Medicine, and its genital references.

BTW: Fuck the American Association of Pediatrics–they are the folks who allowed America to whack little boys penises in half with circumcision for the last 100 plus years ( and counting)

I have been soundly marginalized, ostracized, and outraged; too pummeled to proceed in my normal day to day blog life after encountering what I suspect might be a cult, or worse, the realization that the right wing, and the police state have won, because privacy is worthless even to the progressives

All I have  left is an empty room, choked with the smoke and memories of Machiavelli’s selfish, self serving quotidian totem’s wafting, gasping and chomping around my flue, which is closed.

Where’s that damn lever when I need to pull it? Where’s my axe?? ax, axe, ax ax ax, fasces fascist fascist

Scared child

Power With, or Power Over? If I could only find a friend who will walk me out of here--or should I grab that axe!!*

* the axe is a symbol of socialist revolution. In western, AND Eastern film, the axe represents a pivotal moment between oppression, and liberation, using ones own hands. In fascist symbology, it is a sign of unity of the republicans and the fascist order. fasces
